The Jets started off the 2013 AAU season has begun and I am very excited with our play over the first 4 tournaments. We have a great group of kids from throughout the state of Wisconsin who wanted to be apart of last summer's breakout AAU team. This summer features a brand new 15U and 16U group, and a re-tooled 17U group featuring 6 new players.
Our 17U has played well so far this spring. We are currently sitting in 4th in a very difficult Stanford Pentagon Championship Series and are fresh off of a Gold Championship in the NY2LA Sports Invitational. I am very excited to watch them improve over the next couple months.
Our 16U and 15U teams have played well at times throughout the summer but as a new team, are still getting used to playing together. The overall strength of our schedule going forward will really test them and I am fully confident that they will be winning a lot of games.
